Say It. Believe It. Become It.
The purpose of TNT is to introduce people to the endless possibilities of what they are capable of through the world of health and fitness.
We want to show everyday people what can happen when they become stronger, fitter, healthier and more confident - both physically and mentally.
Our Philosophy
Everything we do at True North Training is built around five key pillars
MINDSET
Of all five pillars, mindset is the one we prioritise most.
LONGEVITY
Fitness isn't a quick fix.
COMMUNITY
A gym is nothing without its community.
PERFORMANCE
Let's not pretend the physical results don't matter.
EDUCATION
We want you to understand what and why.
Membership
Our membership is based around structure, personalised coaching and consistency.
Classes are limited to just 12 people – 6 male and 6 female. That might not sound like a lot, but that’s exactly the point.
Keeping our groups small allows us to deliver the personalised service we’re proud of, giving every member the attention, support and coaching standard they deserve.

Jack Waterson
I'm a coach at TNT. I'm 25 years young and have had a passion for training and fitness since I first stepped into a gym 11 years ago. Since then, training has become a huge part of who I am. I've rarely missed a day, not because I feel like I have to train, but because of how good it makes me feel both physically and mentally. I love pushing myself, testing my limits and having a routine that keeps me feeling my best. And that definitely doesn't stop on the gym floor.

Over the last two years, I’ve pushed myself through countless challenges, from fitness competitions and multi-day running events to ultramarathons covering distances I don’t even enjoy driving in the car! Through all of that, one thing has become very clear to me: your mind is just as important as your body, if not more.
Getting yourself into the right mindset can completely change what you believe you’re capable of. Fitness has transformed me as a person and had a massive impact on my life, and that’s ultimately why I became a coach. I want to help other people experience that same feeling. There’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing someone get their mojo back through training, build confidence in themselves and start becoming the person they’ve always wanted to be. Knowing I’ve played even a small part in that journey is exactly why I love what I do.
Having spent the last two years coaching and working as a Head Coach, I’ve gained a huge amount of experience in understanding what makes people tick, how to get the best out of them and, most importantly, how to keep them moving in the right direction. For me, coaching isn’t just about making people fitter or stronger. It’s about helping people realise what they’re truly capable of. And that’s exactly what we’re here to do at TNT.

I'm one of the coaches here at TNT. Training has been a huge part of my life since I was 14. I originally started with bodybuilding, where my main focus was on building muscle and getting stronger, while running and football have always kept me active outside of the gym. As I've got older and gained more experience, my approach to training has evolved. These days, I'm much more focussed on the bigger picture - strength, fitness, performance and longevity.

For me, training isn’t just about looking good. It’s about building a body that feels great, performs well and stays strong and healthy for years to come. That’s an approach I want to pass on to the people I coach.
Training has always been a massive passion of mine, but being able to use that passion to help other people is what makes coaching so rewarding.
Whether someone wants to get stronger, improve their fitness, build confidence or simply feel better in themselves, I love being part of that journey.
At TNT, I want to help people build a healthier relationship with training, push beyond what they thought they were capable of and create changes that last. Not just training to look better today, but to be stronger, fitter and healthier for the future

At 128kg my weight affected far more than my appearance. It fed my anxiety, knocked my confidence and made me put limits on myself before I’d even tried. I started training because I wanted to lose weight and look different. What I found was that I wanted to live differently. I wanted a body that was capable of taking me places. I wanted to perform, do hard things and take on challenges I once would have convinced myself weren’t for me.

Since then, that journey has taken me through half marathons, Mount Toubkal, a 70 mile ultra and an Ironman 70.3.
I’m still not exactly where I want to be in terms of appearance, but that isn’t what drives me anymore. What matters is what I’m capable of. None of it came from one big moment. It came from being consistent. Showing up when I didn’t feel like it and not giving up on myself. Every challenge has made the limits I once put on myself a little smaller. That’s what True North Training means to me. Becoming more capable than you once believed you could be.
